All I wanted was to handle some credit card debit.. less than 10,000.00 . To this day I regret hiring them. My husband & I are on our mortgage together. Our bank would not allow me to pay the mortgage.. I didn’t think this would happen & was never told. I tried to get financing for a new roof and was denied by all creditors (11) due to my bankruptcy. It has been 4 yrs and this thing still keeps rearing its ugly head. I was told by semlof that my credit would be better than new. He said I could buy a yacht if I wanted after the bankruptcy… I didn’t believe that but didn’t expect that my mortgage would be included in my bankruptcy and that it would cause so many complications with my credit. This guy doesn’t give you the full story and sugar coats everything. Plus beware.. he gets angry if you ask too many questions, or text him ( even though he gives you his cell phone) Also never call on the weekend expecting to leave a message… He answers and screams at you, saying you don’t call your attorney on the weekend! I really didn’t expect him to answer the phone.. Ever heard of voice mail! I just wanted to leave a voicemail to ask a question. My advice.. look else where, do you research, know your rights and know that bankruptcy depending on the chapter filed will mess with your credit for 10 - 13 yrs. Don’t go forward from a place of panic or desperation.
