Somehow Stanley and Associates have removed a very important post regarding their failures. So here it is again. They were hired and failed. This is what they are good at. Review of Stanley Law and Associates I hired Stanley Law and Associates to handle a critical case involving a Tax Lien and Declaratory Judgment on an abandoned property. Unfortunately, my experience with this firm was profoundly disappointing. Failure to Complete the Task: Stanley Law and Associates failed to fulfill the task they were hired for, leaving the case incomplete. Despite charging significant fees, the work they did was minimal and fell far short of what was needed to resolve the matter. Mismanagement of Funds: I spent approximately $40,000 plus $5,000 in attorney fees, only to be left in a worse financial position. I have a legitimate claim for $28,000, yet due to their incompetence, opposing counsel now only offers to settle for $15,000. This puts me at a severe financial loss, a situation directly caused by the law firm's failure to complete what they started. Lack of Communication: Time-sensitive emails were repeatedly deflected or left unanswered, leading to significant delays and confusion. One glaring example was their misstating an email from opposing counsel about the need for hard evidence. Despite my attempts to clarify, my emails were ignored. Poor Organization: The firm displayed a shocking level of disorganization. They admitted they didn’t want to go through past emails to recall key dates and information, a basic responsibility that should have been handled with care. Incompetence and Lack of Effort: While they claimed to have worked hard on my case, the reality is that I ended up doing most of the work myself. They merely sent some emails and made a few phone calls, but achieved no meaningful results. I even managed to find the same information they did through a simple skip trace. Unprofessional Handling: After I called them out for their lack of communication and errors, they decided to drop me as a client, leaving me stranded at a critical juncture. This unprofessional behavior has cost me dearly. Bait-and-Switch: I initially thought I was hiring Greg, a lawyer with a solid reputation, but he passed me off to another associate. Unfortunately, this associate had certain impairments that I believe contributed to the mishandling of my case. This was not what I bargained for, and I feel misled. Overall, my experience with Stanley Law and Associates was a nightmare. Their incompetence and lack of effort have left me in a far worse position than when I started. I would strongly advise anyone seeking legal representation to avoid this firm at all costs

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my experience with Stanley & Associates, LLC, which I feel is important for anyone considering using their services. Throughout my interactions with the firm, I experienced significant issues with responsiveness and organization. Time-sensitive emails were often left unanswered or deflected, and there was a consistently shocking level of poor internal organization. Despite my providing clear instructions for handling tasks, the documents I received were frequently incorrect or incomplete, requiring me to seek assistance from another attorney to have the work properly completed. A particular concern was the behavior of Attorney Jennifer Scruggs. She displayed a consistently aggressive tone and a very negative attitude towards me on multiple occasions. Attorney Greg Stanley even admitted to me that he had previously addressed concerns regarding her behavior with other clients. Ms. Scruggs’ conduct was a primary reason I am relieved to no longer be associated with this firm. I genuinely feel for the other attorneys who are stuck working with her, particularly given her role as a managing partner. Attorney Jim Earley was pleasant in interactions; however, he was unable to provide the documents I requested correctly, necessitating that I have the work completed elsewhere. Attorney Greg Stanley also demonstrated rude and disrespectful behavior toward me during our communications. Additionally, I found that the firm has a tendency to charge for everything, even when work is done incorrectly or not properly completed. It is crucial to thoroughly review invoices, as the firm does not always ensure that billed work corresponds to completed work or properly handled communications. Overall, I am relieved to have moved on from Stanley & Associates, LLC and highly recommend that anyone seeking any form of legal services consider alternative firms that provide more competent service and professional client interactions. Avoid Jennifer Scruggs at all costs. She is extremely difficult to work with.
