If you’re looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, experienced, respected, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcome, I cannot recommend Alen Kaneshiro highly enough.
Alen represented my 13-year-old son after allegations led to his arrest and criminal charges. As a parent, it was one of the most stressful experiences imaginable. From our very first conversation, Alen’s professionalism, confidence, and expertise immediately reassured me that my son was in the best hands possible.
What impressed me most was his honesty and integrity. Unlike many attorneys who tell clients what they want to hear, Alen was straightforward, realistic, and transparent from day one. He never made promises he couldn’t keep. In fact, he actually advised me to wait before retaining him because he felt it would be premature given where the case was in the process. That level of honesty is rare and speaks volumes about his character.
I was referred to Alen by a trusted attorney friend who told me that if it were his own son, Alen is the attorney he would hire without hesitation. That recommendation alone carried tremendous weight. Throughout the process, I also heard from law enforcement officers and other attorneys who consistently spoke highly of him. More than one person told me that when it comes to the courtroom, Alen is a beast. He knows the law inside and out, understands the system at every level, and has a reputation for being exceptionally prepared, strategic, and effective.
His reputation is well-earned. It is clear that he has earned the respect of judges, attorneys, court personnel, and others throughout the legal community. He is intelligent, professional, thorough, and highly respected.
Thanks to Alen’s expertise and guidance every step of the way, the best possible outcome was achieved. While he represented us during TRO proceedings, the criminal case never made it to trial. Once the matter reached the Prosecutor’s Office, the charges against my son were dropped. We never had to step foot in a courtroom for a criminal trial or endure a lengthy court battle because the case was resolved before it ever reached that stage.
What I appreciated most was that Alen always gave me his honest opinion, even when it wasn’t necessarily what I wanted to hear. There were no sales tactics, no false promises, and no guessing games—just sound legal advice and realistic expectations.
Having Alen represent you gives you a level of confidence that is difficult to describe. If I had to compare him to anything, I would compare him to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class of attorneys—trusted, respected, refined, dependable, and operating at the highest level. When he represents you, you know you have someone exceptional in your corner.
If you need an attorney who is honest, highly respected, incredibly knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond for his clients, Alen Kaneshiro is the attorney you want on your side. I could not have asked for a better outcome, and I am forever grateful for the role he played in protecting my son’s future.
Thank you, Alen. My family will never forget what you did for us. Five stars isn’t enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you’re looking for an attorney you can truly trust with your safety and your future, Alen is that person! He helped me through one of the most difficult and overwhelming times of my life involving domestic abuse. He made me feel safe, supported, and completely at ease. I never felt stressed or worried because I knew he had everything under control.
During trial, Alen was calm, confident, sharp, and incredibly prepared. It was amazing to watch him work. His advocacy made all the difference in helping me with a successful outcome.
When another legal matter arose later on with the same individual, Alen stepped in again and handled everything with the same level of professionalism. He didn’t just defend me, he was able to clearly show the true nature of the situation. Having an attorney who understands not only the law, but also the realities of abuse dynamics, is priceless.
This world is filled with so much anger and violence, but having the right attorney can change everything. If you need help with a domestic abuse case or any other criminal matter, Alen is the best attorney you can ask for! Professional, compassionate, fearless, and exceptionally skilled.
Choosing Alen as my attorney was the best decision I could have made! I am endlessly grateful. Mahalo nui loa.

I want to warn all women, especially victims of violence, about my experience with this lawyer. Hiring him was the worst mistake of my life and a total disaster. From my experience, he does not understand abuse against women, and his professional ethics are seriously questionable.
Here’s why I strongly advise against trusting him:
Negligence and lack of respect:
While my life was on the line in court, he was busy texting about the colors of the furniture in his home. He didn’t prepare my defense, did no investigation because he thought it was “too much work,” and didn’t even know the basic details of my case.
Unethical financial conduct:
He took money from me that was not justified and was completely unethical. He demanded payment upfront and later tried to charge extra fees for the length of the trial, as if the delays were my fault. From my experience, his focus was on getting paid, not actually working on the case.
Severe professional incompetence:
He became overwhelmed when he received detailed information and clearly wasn’t capable of handling the case. Instead of defending me, he stayed silent in front of the judge, apparently afraid of saying the wrong thing or looking bad. His priority seemed to be protecting his own image in court, not defending me.
Lack of humanity and moral responsibility:
He ignored calls and didn’t support me when I needed him most. His public profile glorifies cases involving violent people he has defended, which to me shows a complete lack of moral responsibility. His words felt empty and fake, disguised as professionalism just to get his check.
Because of his absent and inadequate defense, my abuser — a man who physically assaulted me, threatened my life, and made me fear for my safety — is still free. Based on my experience, this lawyer is far from someone a victim should trust. Don’t waste your money or put your life in his hands.
Let me tell you that it would be a pleasure to provide the details of your lazy work, but I will leave it here so people can see the ferocity of your response without you even knowing which of your clients you are referring to.
What can be expected from a so-called lawyer with no real training, extremely green and inexperienced, lacking ethics, a liar, and who has just made it clear to everyone that—according to you—you know who I am and that I tried to harm an abuser?
You see, Alan, where are your principles as a lawyer you claim to be, if you admit that an alleged victim would want to harm an abuser? Nice try. Pathetic.
