Our experience working with Allie Weinstein was deeply disappointing. Allie represented our surrogate, and the contract she prepared was so poorly written that escrow raised questions about its contents. After the contract was signed, our surrogate sought clarification on certain points, but Allie failed to respond. When the surrogate requested an update to reflect her pay raise—essential for accurately calculating potential lost wages—Allie ignored the request. Our attorney later contacted Allie to request a simple adjustment of $2 per hour to the lost wage calculation, but she refused, stating her role ended once the contract was signed. This forced us to hire another attorney to make the necessary changes, which was both costly and frustrating for something that only required five minutes of work. The situation deteriorated further when Allie failed to include the mandatory surrogate parental attorney certification in the original agreement. She then demanded an additional $250 to provide it—something 99% of attorneys include as standard practice. Throughout the process, Allie was unresponsive, dismissive, and rushed. She showed no empathy for our surrogate and didn’t allocate the time or attention the situation required. Most concerning was the timing: although we engaged Allie two months before the embryo transfer, she delayed key tasks until 1–2 weeks before the transfer, causing unnecessary stress and panic. While Allie was initially pleasant over the phone, her care and professionalism seemed to disappear once she was paid. We strongly caution anyone, particularly LGBTQ+ families, against using Allie Weinstein’s services.

I love Shelby!!! She helped me through my surrogacy contract like THAT. She was very sweet to me. Even though it was a smooth and quick process she made me feel super comfortable and she really cared about me and what my goal was on this journey; to help someone have a baby!
