While our case ultimately resulted in a settlement, our overall experience with Poisson & Poisson was disappointing. Throughout the process, our attorney was difficult to reach, unresponsive, and came across as cold and lacking compassion. Throughout the process, our attorney was difficult to reach, unresponsive, and came across as cold and lacking compassion. The most troubling moment occurred when my loved one, who is an attorney, explained to Attorney Stewart Poisson that she was unable to continue practicing law because she had suffered a traumatic brain injury. Her response was, "Why don't you just go work at the 7/11 or something?" We found this comment deeply insensitive and unprofessional, especially given the circumstances. Based on our experience, we did not feel treated with the empathy, respect, or care that clients deserve.
