Jason's Unprofessional and Dismissive Approach
I was referred to Jason by a fellow attorney friend and came in with a serious elder exploitation case: someone had falsely used my deceased father's death certificate to obtain power of attorney over my elderly mother and steal her home. I had substantial documentation and supporting letters from her endocrinologist regarding her memory issues and health conditions.
Jason initially seemed skeptical and spent time chastising me in the lobby before giving me about an hour of his time (which I do appreciate). However, the experience was largely negative. He focused heavily on costs and fees rather than the merits of the case, even though I had clear evidence and medical backing. He repeatedly interrupted me, dismissed my input, and made me feel ignored and unheard even telling me (in so many words) to stop talking. He asked me to make physical copies of documents despite me being 1,500 miles away from home for this specifically with everything organized in Google Drive that he could have easily accessed.
I specifically wanted a local attorney for this family matter rather than involving my usual high-cost constitutional lawyer. Unfortunately, Jason did not listen to my plans regarding court filings, dismissed concerns about my mother's documented memory problems (contrary to her doctor's opinion), and ultimately did not take me on as a client.
I left feeling undervalued and unheard. Potential clients should be aware that this office may not be the best fit if you're seeking attentive, compassionate, and collaborative representation in a sensitive elder law matter
I wish I could put Zero… Jason F. was incredibly rude. Hung up the phone on me twice while trying to discuss my case to him… when I called back to get the spelling of his name he was demeaning and highly unprofessional, and unwilling to cooperate.
