I felt overwhelmed by debt and unsure of what to do, but she took the time to guide me through the Chapter 13 bankruptcy process with patience, compassion, and professionalism. She made a difficult situation feel manageable and gave me peace of mind every step of the way. Thanks to her support, I felt confident that I was making the right decision, and I am incredibly grateful that I chose this firm to help me get back on track.

I initially contacted Arkovich Law on October 13 to schedule a Chapter 13 bankruptcy consultation with attorney Barbara Leon for October 24 at 11:00 AM. I was told I would receive intake forms in advance, but did not receive them until I followed up by phone days later. I initially contacted Arkovich Law on October 13 to schedule a Chapter 13 bankruptcy consultation with attorney Barbara Leon for October 24 at 11:00 AM. I was told I would receive intake forms in advance, but did not receive them until I followed up by phone days later. The consultation reminder arrived on October 22, and only at that point did I notice a separate student-loan intake form that was not clearly identified as unrelated to the bankruptcy consultation. I completed all bankruptcy forms as required and joined the scheduled call on October 24 — only to receive a reschedule notice at 10:59 AM, one minute before my appointment. The appointment was then rescheduled twice more — first to October 27, and then to October 30. One hour before the final appointment, the firm contacted me again and informed me I’d be required to pay a $350 “student loan strategy” fee, even though I had originally scheduled for Chapter 13 bankruptcy only and made clear that I did not need student-loan services. I declined and cancelled. I have since contacted another firm that responded the same day, sent all documents promptly, and immediately began my case. In my experience, Arkovich Law appears more focused on student-loan work than bankruptcy cases. With the multiple last-minute cancellations, unclear communication, and unexpected fees, this was not a professional or efficient experience. ****** Response to Owner****** Thank you for the clarification. However, at no point during the three separate rescheduling notifications was I informed that my appointment was being delayed due to missing NSLDS information or a fee requirement. Had that been communicated early on, I would have understood the situation and made an informed decision immediately. The issue was not whether student loan matters can be relevant in bankruptcy—it was the lack of clear communication and the timing of the cancellations, especially one occurring just one minute before the scheduled call. My concern was the repeated last-minute disruptions and the introduction of unexpected requirements only hours before the final appointment. I appreciate the explanation, but the communication gaps made it difficult to proceed confidently.

This experience has been nerve-wracking for me but I will say Angie was super helpful and kind and walked me through everything and answered all of my questions and I would give her 10 Stars if I could.

Christie and her team are amazing! I had a heart attack when I got a letter saying that my student loan payment was going up to an amount that was double my mortgage payment. I tried to do the IBR application on my own through my student loan servicer and it got denied. I reached out to Christie and within 2 weeks her team got my IBR plan approved and my payment reduced by about 95%!! I highly recommend their services!
