Denton and Caroline here at Ashway Laware absolutely amazing. I have done a lot of real estate deals all over the country and have dealt with a lot of law firms but hands down Ashway is not only efficient , they overly communicate with you throughout the process and make it super easy for you to close on deals rather if it’s in person or a mail away. Since working with them the first time I have shifted all of my Georgia closings to Ashway. Customer service is just top tier. 👏👏👏👏

In November 2021, my husband and I found the Principal Partner of the firm, one Mr. Denton Ashway, extremely condescending and insulting toward us. We put down a 30% deposit (that is, 30% of the total cost ) out of our hard-earned money in cash on a sizeable property deal and the closing was handled by this two-person law office. As he handed over some documentation to my husband, Denton Ashway told my husband to be sure of what he was signing, because in the United States fraudulent representations in signing such documents are not tolerated, the implication being, of course, that there was a chance that we were making fraudulent representations. This, to an attorney who is the Principal Partner/owner in a much larger law practice than the Ashway Law Firm! I would go so far as to call Mr. Ashway racist because we are are black Africans. He obviously assumed that being American gave him some type of moral and intellectual high ground. Unknown to him, our law practice is not merely 2 members of the same family and their dogs coming together in the name of law practice. My husband responded by saying coolly and calmly to Mr. Ashway, " As if there is any country on earth where doing that is tolerated" The silence was total, Ashway went red in the face, hopefully from shame, to give him his due. Lawyers are called 'gentlemen' (at the Bar) for a reason. Perhaps Mr. Denton Ashway needs to revisit the ethics of this noble and learned profession to which he has affixed his name and reputation. And, to be honest, he did not need to know what our profession was or the size of our law firm in order to give us simple courtesy which is the right of every client who walks in off the street into your office. Even if the case is being done pro bono, which this certainly was not. Disgusting.
