Scott and his team were great to work with! Our oldest, who is over 18, had to have surgery last year and during the pre-op appointments we realized that while the surgery was covered by our insurance we would not necessarily have any say in an emergency situation since they were over 18 and we were not their medical power of attorney. It's hard to realize that you need actual documentation stating that you can make medical or financial decisions on behalf of your adult children. No one wants to plan for the worse case scenario concerning their children, but there we found ourselves needing to work with someone for Medical and Financial Power of Attorney prior to this surgery, just in case. Scott made the process easy and explained all the details in a way that everyone understood what we were signing. Our young adult had several questions and a very unique request in the case of their death, while that was hard to talk through, all the questions were answered in a clear and understandable way and the request was added to the documentation, no problem! Highly recommend Scott and the CH Law team
I worked with Scott Hyman on a Trust and I was very pleased with how the process went. I would have no problem recommending him to my family or closest friends. I know he would do a great job and treat them right.

Getting connected to and working with CH Law has truly been a blessing! From personal experience, making sure your affairs are in order is an absolute MUST!
I used to fly by the seat of my pants, living every day on the edge without a care in the world for what the future held for my next of kin when I was no longer here. Once my mother passed, and my father shortly after - I was alone and frankly overwhelmed on what the next day would bring for me. Both of my parents had nothing set up for when they passed, no wills, no trust, nothing. Which makes the grieving process that much worse when you are having to deal with figuring out how to pay for a funeral, trying to recollect any memory you have of what their final wishes were or might have been, who gets what treasured possession, dealing with family members disagreeing over anything and everything, it was frankly not a good time.
After that experience, I knew I needed to get my act together so my family would never have to go through what I did with my parents. But I had no idea where to start, who to go to, what I needed, or how much money it would cost me. That was, until I met Scott Hyman from CH Law!
He made the process simple, painless, and as trouble-free as possible. My husband and I were able to set up our wills, as well as our medical and financial POAs so we can sleep easier at night knowing our families will not have bear the burden of "figuring it out" when our time comes.
Scott is able to easily walk you through the process, with helpful organizers that take you through each step to make your wishes as complete as possible, ensuring your loved ones have one less thing to worry about during their grieving.
I highly recommend anyone who has been on the fence, not sure where to start, or does not think it is a necessity to get their affairs in order, to book an appointment with CH Law and take the necessary steps to not only help yourself, but your family as well.
No one knows what the future holds, the spontaneity of death is one of the many factors in life - do not wait any longer, you might not be here tomorrow!
