I contacted RJ Cronkhite after I was terminated and asked for his opinion on the merits of an age discrimination case. Based on our conversation and reviewing some of the documentation and details of the termination, RJ agreed to take the case and was instrumental in filing the lawsuit, identifying the documentation required, following up on discovery, setting up depositions with my former employer, mental evaluation and compensation impact assessment, and scheduling arbitration and mediation. Chris Chesney also became very involved in my case ensuring that I had provided all of the required documentation, and that I was prepared for my deposition. My case proceeded through the litigation process and ultimately was resolved through mediation. The mediation provided an opportunity for a third party to evaluate the evidence and consider the risks and costs of continuing litigation, and to facilitate a fair resolution without proceeding to arbitration. The process took a little over a year to complete and when I look back at it - I was very fortunate to have selected Cronkhite Counsel.
