"I retained this firm under the reasonable assumption that a law firm operating in a business capacity would possess either the competency to handle litigation-adjacent matters or — at the absolute minimum — the professional integrity to refer me to counsel who could. Neither assumption proved correct.
The firm demonstrated a narrow, policy-only competency: they were adequate at drafting internal business documents and reciting procedural guidelines, but when actual litigation exposure materialized and a third party initiated legal action against my company, they were wholly unequipped to respond with anything resembling substantive legal strategy. Rather than conducting a proper conflict analysis, identifying appropriate litigation counsel, or providing any meaningful guidance on my exposure, their singular recommendation was to avoid the opposing party — advice so legally negligent it borders on malpractice.
Following that advice directly resulted in sanctions being levied against my company and caused substantial financial damage that competent referral to a qualified litigator would almost certainly have prevented. The failure here was not merely one of limited expertise — that is forgivable and common. The failure was one of professional judgment and ethical duty: a firm that cannot handle litigation has an affirmative obligation to say so clearly and refer the client to someone who can. They did neither.
What this firm delivered was the legal equivalent of a general practitioner performing surgery because they couldn't be bothered to call a specialist — except in this case, the patient paid for the procedure and got sanctioned on the table. I would strongly caution any business owner with real legal exposure to verify that this firm's competency extends beyond policy drafting before trusting them with anything that has actual consequences."
Elevate law group was professional, informative, and made the process quick and seamless. I highly recommend them! Troy Sexton was who helped me and he took care of everything professionally, attentively, and efficiently.
Troy Sexton helped orchestrate a coup to trick me into signing away managerial rights in my own company and continues to represent that company. Not only that, i own another company and Troy is representing a large competitor that is attempting to sue me because they claim they invented chai. Evidently I don't know the definition of conflict of interest. Troy will represent anyone for any reason...just living the attorney...
