Jacob helped me out with a difficult landlord situation in a very timely manner, and was very easy to get ahold of. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and was eager to help resolve my issue no matter what I threw at him. I could not recommend him enough!

The primary action taken by the firm was sending a notice that I had essentially already sent myself. Despite the limited work performed, I quickly exceeded the $1500 retainer I had paid. I was billed for nearly every communication, including brief emails and phone calls with administrative staff and other team members—not just the attorney. Many of these charges ranged from $60 to $100 per communication, even when I was simply requesting a status update.
The attorney was unviable for my questions and she was always behind of schedule as seems to be a small matter to them.
I was also charged several hundred dollars for administrative work that appeared minimal. When I questioned the billing practices and the rapidly increasing fees, management's response was essentially that I had signed the agreement and was responsible for the charges.
The matter involved collecting approximately one month's rent of $1,800, yet I ended up paying OVER $1,500 in legal fees with very little progress made on the case. In my opinion, the fees were excessive and disproportionate to the work performed and the amount in dispute.
I requested that my file and documents be returned and that the representation be terminated. Even after multiple requests, I did not receive everything promptly, which added to my frustration.
Based on my experience, I found the firm's billing practices, communication, and customer service to be unreasonable and disappointing. I would encourage prospective clients to carefully review the engagement agreement and understand how communications and administrative tasks are billed before retaining this firm.
You will get charged double or tipple of the time they spent on the communication in the rate of $300 for an admin to response to your.

We hired this firm for a $750 flat-fee demand letter regarding a neighbor nuisance case. From the start, communication was a serious problem: missed a scheduled call with no follow-up, and it just recently took nearly a month to get an answer on what our next steps or retainer would be. The demand letter itself contained factual errors, including details we specifically told them to correct beforehand, and they told us we could revise it as much as we wanted, yet the same errors made it into the final version sent to the other side. We provided an extensive, organized packet of documentation and were told they wished all their clients were this prepared. Initially we were told we had a strong case. Weeks later, after all our own work, we were told it likely wasn't worth pursuing, and were then told they'd spent over 20 hours on our matter for a $750 flat fee, despite doing a significant portion of the organizational work ourselves. What started as confidence in our case ended in confusion, wasted time, and a complete loss of trust in the firm's communication and attention to detail. Would not recommend if responsiveness and accuracy matter to you.
