Carlos took my case with Susan as his paralegal. I was in a high conflict custody battle with my ex who was convicted of domestic violence. Carlos made me feel safe enough to share and always encouraged me and gave me the confidence to fight when sometimes I felt like I couldn’t. I wanted to agree during mediation to avoid having to pay further attorney fees, after Carlos reviewed my worries about my son going over to his fathers he made me well aware we could take this to court and most likely win. Carlos allowed me to pay a certain amount of attorney fees and the rest off every month since I couldn’t afford it all at once. When we went to trial he came with an organized and strategized plan of how to ensure my son’s safety and care. As of 10/29/2026 I was awarded FULL custody of my son as well as court ordered child support and backpay.
