The actual lawyer called me back and acted dismissive, suggested we spend less time prepping for appeal which made no sense obviously. Suggested signing a release before even talking with me more than 5 minutes when prior they never asked for such a thing. None of my questions were answered about MassHealth's questionable behavior. I am extremely vulnerable, had a unique case and was essentially talked to like I was a problem or a case they didn't actually care about... the careful crafting of the lawyers words during our call tells me she was trying to find a way out because no one wants to take my case. Untrustworthy service.

Honestly, extremely disappointed. I have a case, I spent all morning sending them paperwork to be refused because they did not help me with the BOH hearing and I wasn't a former client. I have everything in writing, the insurance admitted wrongdoing, and the BOH decision was also extremely flawed and not based on medical documentation and reasoning. I now must get a feeding tube and have been directly harmed numerous times by my insurance. They do not help the most vulnerable or the disabled like they say they do. I have spoken to other law firms and they said that HLA like to pick and choose their wins and because of my complexity and my degrading health , they chose to waste my time. They did agree I need immediate help, but just not from them. Wouldn't trust them if you are extremely sick and being neglected with insurance, even with concrete proof.
