A complete waste of time and an incredibly frustrating experience. I scheduled this appointment well in advance and clearly explained the specific issue I needed to discuss. The appointment was presented as a consultation, but in reality, it consisted of being placed in front of a 36-minute prerecorded video containing nothing relevant to my situation. When I arrived, I did not meet with Julie. Instead, I was asked—again—why I was there. After explaining my situation for a second time, I was instructed to watch a video about estate planning. I specifically asked whether it would address my issue, and the assistant replied that it “should.” Although I already knew estate planning had nothing to do with my situation, I watched the entire video. When it ended, I was asked whether it had answered my question. It had not. I then had to explain my situation for a third time, only to be told that I would need to schedule another appointment to speak with Julie—and that I would be charged $350 for the actual consultation. Calling the original appointment a “consultation” was extremely misleading. There was no meaningful discussion, no individualized guidance, and no effort to address the issue I had explained in advance. I took time off work expecting to meet with someone, only to watch an irrelevant video and be sent away with instructions to schedule and pay for another appointment. The lack of preparation, communication, and respect for my time was unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and find someone else.
