My experience with Mr. Lanksy was a 1/10, and I would not recommend him based on my experience. From the beginning, dealing with Mr. Lanksy was extremely difficult. I found him to be rude, dismissive, and lacking compassion during one of the most stressful and difficult situations of my life. Instead of making me feel supported and informed, my interactions with him caused me additional stress and anxiety. One of my biggest concerns involved my son’s father repeatedly picking our son up from school without calling, texting, or otherwise communicating with me beforehand. I specifically brought this concern to Mr. Lanksy because I needed legal guidance and wanted to understand what could be done to establish clear boundaries and prevent this from continuing. His response was that the father “cannot kidnap his son.” That response did not address the issue I was actually raising, nor did I feel that I received meaningful legal guidance about my options. I expected my attorney to explain the available legal remedies, including whether a temporary timesharing order could be requested so that both parents would have clear instructions regarding pickup, drop-off, and timesharing. Instead, I was left feeling confused, unsupported, and even more overwhelmed. I also had serious concerns regarding billing transparency. I did not receive an invoice until approximately four months later, when my balance had fallen below $300. I was not provided with itemized monthly billing statements, which made it extremely difficult to understand how my retainer was being used or what I was being charged for throughout the representation. The entire experience became so stressful that I ultimately made the decision to fire him and seek different representation. Hiring an attorney is supposed to provide you with legal guidance, communication, and peace of mind during an already difficult situation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I feel that I spent a significant amount of money while simultaneously experiencing additional stress and anxiety because of the way my case was handled. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring Mr. Lanksy to carefully research their options, ask how communication and billing will be handled, and make sure they feel comfortable with their attorney before signing a representation agreement. For me, the experience was not only financially frustrating but emotionally exhausting. Ultimately, I had to remove myself from the situation and find another attorney.

I cannot recommend Glen highly enough. Going through a divorce is one of the most stressful experiences a person can face, and having him by my side made all the difference.
