The Law Office of Grant Kaplan has been absolutely outstanding in helping me secure my green card. From start to finish, their professionalism, responsiveness, and deep understanding of the process gave me complete confidence during what can otherwise be a stressful journey. A special thanks to Alfred and Cris, who were exceptional every step of the way. Alfred brought a calm, strategic approach that kept things moving smoothly, while Cris was always quick to respond, thorough with the details, and incredibly supportive. Their team made a complex process feel manageable—and ultimately successful. I’m truly grateful for their dedication and highly recommend them to anyone navigating U.S. immigration. Robert Wilke

My fiancé was a client of Grant Kaplan Law Office, and based on what I witnessed throughout his case, I cannot recommend this firm. Communication was extremely poor, particularly before a critical pre-screening interview. Multiple emails were ignored despite the urgency of the matter. The most concerning part of our experience was that my fiancé arrived at his pre-screening interview with documents that were not properly prepared or in order, despite document preparation being part of the legal services that had been paid for. This caused unnecessary stress during an important stage of the immigration process. We were also left with the impression that the agreed scope of work was not fully carried out and that information provided to us was, at times, inconsistent with what actually transpired. When you pay for professional legal representation, you expect accurate advice, proper preparation, responsiveness, and accountability. Unfortunately, based on our experience, those expectations were not met. I sincerely hope the firm improves its communication and client service so that future clients do not have a similar experience.

I am extremely disappointed with how my immigration matter was handled and with the stress this firm caused during the most critical stage of my case. The firm took control of my Yatri registration and selected an appointment date with the embassy without first consulting me or obtaining my permission( event hough I had an expedited appt date) . I was then told that the registration of my immigrant visa interview had been successfully completed, but I was not informed that the firm had selected a different date or that it did not match the expedited appointment I had obtained with the assistance of a congressional office. I only discovered the discrepancy after checking the account myself. This left me trying to determine whether the firm’s selection had affected my expedited appointment, which date was valid and whether I would still be able to proceed. The stress and uncertainty were enormous. This concerned my immigration future, my family, flights, accommodation, medical arrangements, time away from work and a process I had already waited years to complete. After asking for explanations to these discrepancies and during the most stressful part of my entire immigration process, less than a week before my interview, I received an email from the firm’s office manager with the subject “Wishing You All the Best,” stating that the firm’s mandate had been fulfilled. At that point, important matters were still unresolved. My documents on CEAC had not all been properly updated, I had not received a proper pre-interview preparation appointment, and I had not been clearly informed that the first appointment was a pre-screening and document review rather than the immigrant visa interview itself. For the three days leading up to the pre-screening, I also received no response to questions I raised from the person who had been handling my case. I was therefore left correcting documents, preparing myself and trying to understand the process during an already highly stressful period. What made the situation even more confusing was that, after stating that the mandate had been fulfilled, Grant later contacted me after the pre-screening and said that the firm was there to support me through the successful completion of my case. In my view, that assurance came too late. I needed clear communication, preparation and support before the appointment, not conflicting messages afterward about whether the firm’s involvement had ended or was continuing. The firm later explained that the other appointment date had been selected as a protective placeholder. My concern remains that I was not told this when the date was selected, I was not consulted, and I only became aware of the discrepancy because I discovered it myself. I am not claiming that malpractice or professional misconduct has been legally established. I am describing my personal experience. In my view, the communication, preparation and handling of this time-sensitive matter fell far below what I reasonably expected from an immigration law firm, and the resulting stress was substantial and avoidable. If you read the responses to some of the reviews you will clearly get an Idea of how this firm takes responsibility for client satisfaction and/or handles some of their former clients.
