We needed new estate documents prepared for my father in law a few years back. I called Maureen, and sent her the existing documents at her request. She wanted to meet with all of us in person; a reasonable request. At the meeting she gave us every assurance that she would get the documents prepared. Two days later I got a bill for $700, which I immediately paid on line....
We needed new estate documents prepared for my father in law a few years back. I called Maureen, and sent her the existing documents at her request. She wanted to meet with all of us in person; a reasonable request. At the meeting she gave us every assurance that she would get the documents prepared. Two days later I got a bill for $700, which I immediately paid on line. 30 minutes after I paid the bill, Maureen called me to say that she couldn’t represent my father in law. That’s 30 minutes after I paid her. Boy, did I feel like a chump!
