I would not recommend Kathleen Logan. My experience with her left me frustrated, unsupported and without confidence in her representation. I previously worked with Thomas Gilbert and did not have these communication problems. After my case was transferred to Kathleen, I repeatedly had to chase responses and updates. I contacted her numerous times requesting help with unpaid child support, but I did not receive the timely assistance or clear plan of action I needed. There was also a period when she was unavailable, which opposing counsel mentioned during a hearing. I recall the judge criticizing counsel’s handling of the case as well. Hearing those concerns raised in court reinforced my own frustration. She recommended accepting a $2,000 settlement when my calculation of unpaid support was $7,500, excluding outstanding reimbursements. I also received calculations that I believed were inaccurate. I needed an attorney who was responsive, prepared and attentive to my case. Instead, I felt unheard and left to repeatedly ask for basic assistance. I have decided to end her representation and seek another attorney. Based on my experience, her handling of my case was unacceptable.

Mrs Logan accepted our extremely volatile - tangled-up mess of a case. Just a rats nest of : injustice; prejudice; and inequality. After going through family court for more than a decade; it finally felt good to have council that really should be hired by Professional Athletes or Movie stars. I knew I was in good hands when we went to mediation, and the gentleman said: “practicing law for 30+ years, I’ve never seen a lawyer so prepared” From the many hours she carved out for communication and updates; to the 500-page binders dedicated to my case. She gave every bit of her time plus some. I owe her a tremendous amount of gratitude and she really is making a difference in this world let alone a pinellas county lawyer.
