MOGO IS A NO GO We contacted Rodney Monheit in August 2025 regarding a bad faith insurance claim and remained in communication with him through April 2026. Early in the process, he recommended completing the appraisal process before pursuing legal action, which we followed. Throughout that period, we had multiple communications and were repeatedly told that once appraisal/umpire was complete, he would be ready to take on the case. As we approached the conclusion of the appraisal process, communication became increasingly difficult. Near the end of the process and after the umpire decision, he became unreachable despite multiple follow-ups. In early May, we were finally informed that the firm was “at capacity with our caseload and won’t be able to assist you at this time.” The result was a significant delay in moving forward with our claim after months of reliance on prior communications and assurances. We ultimately had to restart our search for counsel after investing substantial time selecting and coordinating with this firm. Update on 9/8/26: Mogo responded that they were “sorry that I struggled in your search for counsel”. This is inaccurate. I have obtained component counsel; Mogo was anything but professional in the process.
