Extremely Disappointed by the Unprofessional Treatment I am extremely disappointed with how my experience with Osipov Bigelman was handled. After being referred to their office regarding a civil case, I reached out in hopes of receiving professional legal guidance. I was scheduled for a consultation on October 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM. However, on October 21, just one day before my scheduled appointment, I received a phone call informing me that the attorney was no longer interested in taking my case and that my consultation was being canceled. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had not even been given the opportunity to explain the circumstances of my case or discuss its merits with the attorney. Seeking clarification, I called the office back to understand why this decision had been made. The woman who answered the phone informed me that the only explanation documented in the notes was that the attorney simply "wasn't interested." I find this incredibly unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. I fully understand that attorneys have the right to decline cases, but there is a significant difference between professionally declining representation after evaluating someone's situation and canceling a scheduled consultation without offering any meaningful explanation. People seeking legal representation are often already dealing with stressful and difficult circumstances. The very least they deserve is to be treated with dignity, courtesy, and professionalism. To schedule a consultation, cancel it the day before, and provide no explanation beyond a lack of interest is both disheartening and discourteous.
