0/10. Absolutely do not hire this law firm!! We hired Uri to handle our adoption, and instead of personally handling the case we paid him for, he passed it off to another attorney who, to our understanding, had never handled an adoption before. From that point on, communication was basically nonexistent. We had to constantly chase them for updates, answers, and basic information about our own case. Now, more than a year after the adoption was finalized, our child’s birth certificate still has not been changed. We were told the attorneys should have submitted the required paperwork to the state, but apparently that was never properly handled. So not only was the communication terrible, the job we paid them to complete still appears to be unfinished. We are also dealing with a serious insurance-related issue tied directly to the adoption. Finding another attorney has been nearly impossible because this firm handled the original case and has the full history and documentation. When we reached out for help, we were told they are “not accepting clients.” Excuse me? We are not new clients. We are previous clients asking them to fix issues connected to work they completed only a year ago. They had no problem accepting our money, handing our case off, barely communicating, and leaving important paperwork unresolved. But now that we need them to stand behind their work, suddenly they are unavailable. Their attitude has basically been: we got paid, the case is closed, and your problems are no longer our concern. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the headache. Hire a law firm that actually communicates, completes the work it was paid to do, and does not abandon clients the second a problem comes up.
