I was in need of a person to facilitate the private property sale of a family property located in Petaluma, CA. It was being held in a living trust for which I was a trustee (I live several hours away in the Central Valley). I needed someone to guide me through the entire process, from writing and presenting the purchase contract through closing of escrow. I did a search for attorneys in the Petaluma area who performed this type of service, and fortunately I was referred to Robert. Robert immediately contacted me, and quickly convinced me that he was the right person for the job. Robert is both an attorney and a licensed real estate broker, so he knows both sides of each job. I was specifically looking to hire an experienced real estate attorney vs a broker, so he could represent me and my interests exclusively. I wanted a quick 14-day escrow, so I needed someone who could work quickly. Robert got right on it, and was very accessible and responsive both by phone and text. He prepared all of the required documents (including all of the seemingly endless disclosures) and took the time to explain them all to me prior to sending them to me for signature via DocuSign. He then opened escrow at Republic Title in Petaluma on my behalf. He coordinated everything so that I was able to sign everything remotely via DocuSign. I did have to go to a local notary public however only to sign final escrow documents. Throughout the entire process, Robert kept me apprised as to the progress and what to expect next. I am very happy to say that escrow closed today as planned. Looking back, I was very apprehensive at the start of the process, but now that it is over, I am very happy that I went with Robert. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to close a private party sale.
