Robert N. Hamilton

Robert was the mediator for a case between me and ex husband. Apparently he told the other side that I “ it was like watching a Buddhist woman light herself on fire in front of crowd”. He would come tell my side all kinds of things about my ex. So instead of trying to get us to settle and meet in the middle. He caused anger and a further divide. So unprofessional. I’m filing a complaint through the proper channels. This man should not be a mediator or an attorney with such unprofessional behavior.

If you need a glorified legal secretary who can find the courthouse and file paperwork, Bob is your guy. If you need a competent, hard-nosed family attorney to fight for you and what you hold dearest, stay a hundred miles away and pray he’s the opposing counsel. So ill-prepared for my support modification trial. I was prepared. Opposing counsel was prepared. Judge was prepared. What about Bob? Constantly scrambling for notes and fumbling for words. Oddly timed and worded objections. Horrible report with the judge. Outcome was shockingly one-sided and one of the worst judgements in the history of the St. Louis family court system. Use anyone else to fight and protect your rights. You can only do better.

Please read. This attorney and his practice are operating cash generating business. They are not in business of help children and actually care about the difference between the parents. His law firm and gal services are nothing more than glorified extortionist. And I’m here to tell you the story I have the proof and evidence Last December I was in the court room with Mr. Hamilton, who after months of us asking for a bill and to discuss the bill for his services to be paid. He dodged our phone calls and emails for two months. He was our kids GAL from July until December and he never met with our kids except for on their initial meeting and he met with me and my ex one time and he tried to bill us $10,000 for his services. I think we ended up paying $6000 total after me and Bob Hamilton made a gentleman‘s agreement in the very same courtroom that our custody paperwork was signed in. The agreement was that since he did not want to go over his bill and services with us that I was not going to pay anymore than what we have already paid which was a total of $6000 then he went behind my back to ask my ex-wife again got another thousand dollars from her to be tacked on to our custody agreement with the courts. Fast forward to three months later. Now he has secretly gone around and cheated the system and has started garnishing my exes wages, all in an attempt to be paid for services that he did not even do. He has since gone against his gentleman agreement. Will be taking steps forward to make sure that Mr. Hamilton and his GAL services or attorney service’s in this state. Mr. Hamilton is in the cash generating business. He literally only practices law the only two sectors which are not closely monitored in attempt to make as much money for himself and destroy as many peoples lives by billing extra hours and services. I know this because then when you ask your attorney about the GAL fees, they tell you that the GAL will file a motion to strike, Pleadings, which they use to intimidate families in order to get their fees paid. Mr. Hamilton did file a motion of staggered pleadings, and after talking to him in the courtroom the day of our hearing we made a gentleman agreement because he knew his goose was cooked, and I shook on it. All Mr. Hamilton is after is making as much money from unsuspecting families by By becoming a GAL and finding the loopholes in the system and extorting them to the greatest level.

Robert Hamilton is a disgusting excuse for a representative of children. Should not be allowed to practice as a GAL on behalf of kids. On one particular video conference where he was supposed to be interviewing the kids, he was more interested in watching a football game. As others have mentioned he certainly will make sure he bills for services and does nothing but leave kids for abusive parents to use for their benefit. He will refer the services of his daughter's office and Erika Ottolini as a parenting counselor who will also rob you blind and do nothing. I have reported him to the Missouri Barr association and I suggest you do too.
