At our initial sit down, I really thought that this law office was going to be just what I bargained for. The attorney and myself had a great conversation. I decided to go with him and dropped $1,800 that same day. However, like most firms, you actually communicate with the paralegal. I think she was his wife. I finally talked to her the first time, after calling and leaving 2 messages and 2 emails, to verify that she had received my information because she doesn't return phone calls or reply to emails. And when the other lady answers the phone, she always said "She just stepped out for a minute." So, I went 2 months without hearing from the attorney nor the paralegal. At that point I just wanted my money back. I contacted Arkansas Committee on Professional Conduct, and they told me to send them a certified letter requesting my funds, and told me just what to say. This was the only way that I could get them to communicate. And yes, I got my money back because they do not want to deal with this Committee. And this is the firm in Eldorado, AR.
