Extremely disappointing experience — poor communication, inaccurate information, and unnecessary delays. I hired this firm for what should have been a straightforward, uncontested divorce. I was initially told the process would begin around the end of March and take approximately 90 days. Instead, it dragged on until the end of September — roughly six months. Throughout the process, Brittany, the paralegal, repeatedly gave me inaccurate information about paperwork, submissions, and timelines. I was told forms had been submitted when they had not been, and I was repeatedly given timelines that were not met. Even more frustrating, the firm rarely contacted me proactively. Nearly every update happened because I had to reach out and ask what was going on. The experience in court was also concerning. When the judge asked my attorney questions about my divorce decree, he couldn’t remember important details and actually told the judge, “I don’t know where that is in the decree.” He also had to ask me to remind him about provisions in my own case. I found it extremely troubling that I appeared to have a better understanding of my decree than the attorney representing me. The judge was professional and the divorce was ultimately finalized, but the process getting there was unnecessarily frustrating. I hired an attorney so I wouldn’t have to manage my own divorce case. Unfortunately, I often felt like I was managing the law office instead.

Mr Smith and legal assistants, especially Crystal who was assigned to my case, were such an amazing team who not only had tons of knowledge but were also very pleasant to work with. I came in there with nothing but a broken heart and no direction. Without a dollar in my pocket and not a hope in sight. After my first meeting with Ms. Carolyn I could see a distant dream begin to form. As we started getting closer to my hearing by judge they all moved and acted with confidence, knowledge, manners and professionalism that stands out above everything. Thank y'all for what you've accomplished in my life which gave me a reason to smile and enjoy life again which I had not smiled for 4 years at least. Thank you all!

This Guy is the absolute truth!!! When I was going through my divorce proceedings back in 2013 upon my return from Afghanistan, and things were being drawn out "I'm not going to go into details"; he took my case personally himself and my divorce was finalized in a matter of weeks, which is almost unheard of.
