Terry is by far the worst lawyer I have had, and here's why: in my opinion he is incapable of empathy. What always stood out to me is that he wanted to chat more about his own family and how great his kids were when I visited him in his office, versus discussing my scenario and my children. Chatting about his kids is fine (which parent isn't proud of their kids?), but not when I am paying for it and am about to head into a trial for the custody of my own children.
In a nutshell, this man made me feel ill at ease and treated me like just another number responsible for his bill at the end of the month. I never felt like I was in good, capable and kind hands that had my best interest at heart.
Even to get him off of my case I felt like I needed to exercise extreme caution, wasn't sure what would happen if I just told him he was fired so I onboarded another lawyer way in advance before finally getting rid of this guy. What a relief this was!
It has been years since I have even thought about him, but just doing it now still makes me quiver a little. When Google asked me to review him, I thought it imperative to give another father the heads up: caveat emptor.
He explained it in Lamon terms. When there are some lawyers that will speak to you fast in trying to take your money. He was very clear and he made. You feel like a person l holly recommend him
