I cannot say enough good things about attorney Chris Liebig and the representation he provided me during one of the most serious and stressful situations of my life. I was facing multiple criminal charges, including two felony assault charges involving law enforcement, three child neglect charges, and the possibility of two mandatory six-month minimum jail sentences. There was an incredible amount riding on the outcome of my case—not only my freedom, but also my family situation involving DSS, my military career, my education, and my future plans to earn my law degree. Chris understood from the beginning that this case could affect the rest of my life. He knew that avoiding a felony conviction was extremely important to preserving the future I have worked so hard to build. Despite the seriousness of the charges, I ultimately walked away with no felony convictions, pled to three misdemeanors, and received 15 days in jail. Considering what I was originally facing, the outcome was life-changing. Chris continued fighting for me even after sentencing. While I was in jail, I was told that seven days I had previously served would not be credited and that I would have to remain incarcerated for approximately another week. I was sitting in jail believing I had all that additional time left to serve. Chris immediately took action, filed a petition addressing the issue, and I was released the very next day because I had already served the required time. His knowledge of the Virginia court system, his professional relationships, his experience dealing with Commonwealth’s Attorneys, and his ability to navigate a complicated case made an enormous difference for me. Most importantly, the outcome means I can continue moving forward with my life. I can continue pursuing my education and law degree, work toward my military career and serving our country, and move forward without a felony conviction hanging over my future. I will always be grateful to Chris Liebig for taking my case seriously, understanding exactly what was at stake, and continuing to advocate for me when I needed it most. If you are facing serious criminal charges in Virginia and need an attorney who understands the system and knows how much the outcome can affect your entire future, I highly recommend Chris Liebig.

This is a PSA. Think Twice. Before you trust Christopher Leibig, Esq. with your freedom, understand what happened when I did. I gave Leibig two objectives that required neither clairvoyance nor a decoder ring: put James A. This is a PSA. Think Twice. Before you trust Christopher Leibig, Esq. with your freedom, understand what happened when I did. I gave Leibig two objectives that required neither clairvoyance nor a decoder ring: put James A. Brokke—my childhood abuser, the man I consider and call the “Jeffrey Epstein of Fairfax County”—on the record, consistent with Wiggins; and keep the attorney I had fired out of my case, an objective I have strong reason to believe McCoy and Virginia Rule 1.2 protected. Neither happened. The fired attorney returned over my protest and objection, raising, in my view, serious Gonzalez-Lopez concerns. A psychological report Leibig arranged was also used without my signature or approval-and somehow Brokke wasn’t even named, raising serious concerns for me under Estelle. If you’re shopping for a defense lawyer, remember what you’re actually shopping for: someone you’re trusting with your life. Based on my experience, Christopher Leibig would not get my recommendation. Think twice.
