I got stuck with TJ Spear as a public defender two years after I had retained and fired him. This time, he lied and manipulated me into pleading guilty to something that I should have never been charged with.
The reason I fired him two years prior was because of his condescending tone and inability to allow me to finish a sentence. I needed his help out from under an abusive, retaliatory restraining order. It turns out that the evidence proving the petition was falsified as well as a clerical error that could have void the order all together was located in the audio recording of the ex-parte hearing. He never bothered to listen to it but he did tell me to "be good" which is what every victim of abuse needs to hear. Do not hire Thomas Spear!

TJ is an outstanding Attorney! I had a police officer fabricate a story to try to defame me in an attempt to protect his image. He filed a bogus order and then had me arrested at church. TJ got the order and violation both dismissed. It is not often you come across an attorney who is good and morally sound. I could not give him 10 stars or I would!

He quickly realized this was a ploy by an individual to circumvent a repossession. Tj was able to successfully defend us. Tj was able to call out the petitioner on all his lies during the hearing.
