2018 I was conned into hiring this firm after meeting with David Sherak when my best friend passed away and there was lack of clarity as to whether her trust had been manipulated or not and my hopes to carry out her wishes as to the plans of her estate. Unknownst to me, this firm's goal was to take as much money from the small amount that she had to leave. In only a year and a half, they managed to rack up $50,000 or more of $150,000 trust. They violated their contract numerous times during the time I hired them raising their fees without notifying me, violating their contract, and even after I fired them violated their contract again by refusing to go to arbitration and instead litigating to get paid by filing a motion as if they were a beneficiary. This is all against state probate code. In addition, they will have many attorneys billing at more than $400 an hour do double work on the same thing conferring with each other, just so they can run up the fees. 6 years later, Mr. Stephan Andranian and Mr. Sherak are still trying to litigate to get paid an additional $50,000 out of an estate that was only $150,000 from the beginning. They have also tried to plead with the court to hold me in contempt and put me in jail. It is simply disgusting that a firm like this preys upon small trusts that don't have the funds to fight them and use strong arm fear tactics to try to bankroll their firm. To recap, this firm believes they deserve $100,000 or more out of an estate that only had $150,000, and actually wrote themselves into the settlement that no beneficiary could get paid until they did. After a settlement of $40,000 to the party I hired them to help with, clearly you can see there is no funds left, so now they are trying to collect from the trustee, which is illegal. It is my hopes and belief that eventually these disgusting unethical attorneys will be barred from practicing.
