This review a little dated (events in late 2022) but still valid. Here's the backstory: I was leasing a condo in Ft Lauderdale for three years and decided to move. The landlord lived in Canada and had her realtor do the final inspection. The inspection came back clean with a couple of minor disagreements. The landlord resorted to add on additional items and to take everything out of the security...
This review a little dated (events in late 2022) but still valid. Here's the backstory: I was leasing a condo in Ft Lauderdale for three years and decided to move. The landlord lived in Canada and had her realtor do the final inspection. The inspection came back clean with a couple of minor disagreements. The landlord resorted to add on additional items and to take everything out of the security deposit. I came upon Bruce Jacobs, P.A. and he was excellent at getting my full security deposit back along with court costs. He knows the law (Florida Landlord Tenant Act) along with its legal procedures; can't go wrong with Mr. Jacobs. I'm sure I will use his services again either as a tenant or landlord.
