Jessica was personable, transparent, and responsive during a very stressful time. She explained the legal process, what she would do, what I needed to do and she followed up to make sure everything was taken care of. I would recommend her.

Jessica is an amazing family lawyer. As a dad, I approached a very contentious divorce and custody case with a lot of worry. The stereotype that fathers rarely get custody kept resonating in my mind (and reiterated by my ex). Jessica set my expectations correctly and professionally - dads are given a fair chance in Anne Arundel County, and she continuously gave me options as the case moved forward. Fortunately and unfortunately, after nearly 3 years in and out of court, I won primary custody of my kids nearly a decade ago. This outcome may not happen for everyone (and hopefully doesn’t - it’s always better if your kids have both parents), but listen to every piece of advice Jessica gives you and it will turn out as best as it can for your situation.
