Please avoid. I had my divorce settled in an excellent manner by attorney Matthew Palmer. With Cruse, I never got to see my son in months, he charged exorbitant fees and accomplished nothing. Had meeting with the other attorneys canceled. Finally, came and said “I got a wonderful settlement deal for you, and you will have to pay all spousal support for the next 2 years in a lump sum...
Please avoid. I had my divorce settled in an excellent manner by attorney Matthew Palmer. With Cruse, I never got to see my son in months, he charged exorbitant fees and accomplished nothing. Had meeting with the other attorneys canceled. Finally, came and said “I got a wonderful settlement deal for you, and you will have to pay all spousal support for the next 2 years in a lump sum up front.” I let him know that I did not agree with this as I had not seen my child and mother being from Argentina was at flight risk for leaving the country with our then 6 year old. He replied “Now, I cannot go back and change my offer, you are ruining my reputation.” Attorney Matthew Palmer got me to see my son within weeks of hiring him after Cruse pressure me to sign a waiver that he would not be represent me any longer. You want an attorney that has his client’s best interest in mind vis a vis charge excessively and in turn do as the counsel wishes.
