I have used John for the past 5 years and he is very knowledgeable on elder care and Medicaid. He price was fair considering high lawyer fees. He was professional and fully committed to helping my case. Thank you so much John for your counsel. I couldn't have gotten through it without you!
I agree with the review from the young lady who stated how potential clients are mad to feel insignificant. I called their office and Lynette took my information. She the asked me to email her a copy of my wife's POA (Power of Attorney) in which I did. She claimed Mr. Sirois who probably want to look at the document before calling back. After waiting two days I called back again. I was told he came into the office but left again. I called a third time as was told he'd just left for lunch. After 4 days of waiting and excuses which appears to be more liked screened calls, I decided to look elsewhere. I emailed the Law Offices of Lasavio and DeJean from Baton Rouge. They called me the following morning eager to answer and questions pertaining to our situation. Needless to say I forgot to ask one question, called back and left a message and Mr. DeJean called me right back. I strongly suggest using them for estate matters. They are very knowledgable and professional unlike John Sirois. The only reason I gave one star is because the was not a 0 in rating. Stay away from this type of service.

"Strong People Stand Up For Themselves, But Stronger People Stand Up For Others"
Years after my mother was faced with a devastating diagnosis, her condition progressed to the point of requiring 24 hour skilled nursing care. After finding the right long term care facility for my mother, I was faced with a litany of questions and concerns regarding Medicare/Medicaid regulations and guidelines, and how to protect my mother's assets from nursing home expenses. Initially, I relied on "word of mouth" from other families facing similar situations, and the facilities' assistance with payment requirements. It was all very confusing, especially when receiving conflicting information. Eventually, I was referred to Attorney John Sirois by several families he represented. John Sirois is an Estate and Elder Law Attorney; an EXPERT in Medicaid/Medicare law and Estate Planning. After my first meeting with him, I knew I had not only the "right" person, but the "only" person with the knowledge required to assist my family and I through this ordeal. Mr. Sirois, offered expert advice and guidance consisting of numerous meetings, and countless phone calls. He was always kind, professional, patient, reassuring, and always returned my phone calls in a timely manner. I was so grateful to have found a specialized Attorney of his caliber in Houma, Louisiana.
I put all of my faith and trust in John and I am so grateful I did! John Sirois can be trusted! My advice to anyone is do not wait until you are faced with a family crisis. Reach out to John now and learn about protecting you or your loved one's assets in the event long term care may be required, and know you are in good hands. I would give John Sirois 10 Stars if I could! Thank you John for helping my family and I when no one else understood that asset options even existed in these situations. You are a blessing to this community.
