I had the pleasure of working with Michele Lemieux on an REO transaction, and she was wonderful to work with! She was responsive, attentive, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We worked with Wickless & Michele on two real estate transactions and both times they were friendly and affordable but absolutely abysmal at answering questions, neglectful in explaining contract details, failed to make any reasonable effort to research or clarify legal questions we had, and ended up costing us a very avoidable fee of multiple tens of thousands of dollars in conveyance fees. Had they properly informed us of our legal obligations and constraints when we initially purchased our land, we would have been able to make choices and adjustments that would have (a) informed our decision to buy in the first place, (b) informed our decision to designate the land under land use policies, and (c) informed our choices around the later sale of the land. Long and the short of it is, they will seem very friendly, but they are inexorably lazy -- forget going the extra mile, they hardly go the first mile. This was an avoidable scenario and it was their negligence that has cost us a very serious chunk of money.

Michele was absolutely incredible throughout our real estate transactions. From start to finish, she was professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Real estate deals can be stressful and complex, but she made sure we understood every step of the process and always had our best interests protected. Kevin was also fantastic - he took the time to clearly explain all of the documents, breaking everything down in a way that made it easy to understand. At closing, he made what could have felt overwhelming actually feel simple and smooth. Their communication was timely, their attention to detail was outstanding, and we always felt supported and confident moving forward. If you're looking for a real estate legal team that is sharp, reliable, and truly advocates for their clients, I highly recommend them. We're so grateful to have had them in our corner.
