An attorney should make you feel advocated for—not like you are fighting your own counsel to have legitimate concerns addressed. When I raised issues I believed were important, I often felt resistance rather than guidance or solutions. At times, it felt as though necessary steps were being pushed against because they were inconvenient rather than because there was a clearly explained legal reason not to pursue them.
I did not expect my attorney to agree with everything I requested. I expected clear legal advice, options, strategy, and advocacy. Instead, I repeatedly found myself chasing answers and pushing for direction.
Ultimately, I lost confidence in the representation and retained new counsel. The difference in communication, preparation, and direction after changing counsel only reinforced my decision.
Divorce and custody are stressful enough. You should not have to fight to feel heard by the attorney you hired to represent you.

I am beyond grateful for Miriam and her staff for helping me through my long and stressful immigration process. Miriam and her staff was always very responsive and answered every question I asked. Miriam is very knowledgeable when it comes to the immigration process and her knowledge and expertise helped my case from start to finish. Every case is different but In my case I had to attend an interview at the US Embassy in my home country and I came back after 3 weeks with no issues. Today, I got my green card in the mail and my wife and I are beyond grateful with Miriam and her staff for helping us through this process. I 1000% recomend Miriam Martinez to anyone planning to go through the immigration process.
THANK YOU!!!!!
